Remember in hisMemoirs, written in the 1850s or thereabout, Lord Broughamspeculated that if in 1789, at the time of the Regency Crisis,Pitt had gone out of office and Fox come in, Fox would havebeen an opponent of the French Revolution and Pitt would havesupported the French Revolution!!
